Welcome to magistrOS. These terms govern your use of our service. By using magistrOS, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully - we've tried to make them clear and fair.

Your Account
Eligibility: magistrOS is intended for teachers and educational professionals. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Account security: You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activities that occur under your magistrOS account.
One account per person: Each teacher should have their own account. Account sharing is not permitted.
Account termination: You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Free Plan & Billing
Free plan (no trial)
Every new account starts on our free plan with usage limits. No credit card is required to start.
Upgrade anytime: To unlock full access to Pro features, you can subscribe at any time. We offer monthly and yearly billing options.
Payment processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details on our servers.
Price changes: We may adjust our prices from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and won't affect your current billing period.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: We generally don't offer refunds for partial billing periods. However, if you're unhappy with the service, please contact us - we'll try to find a fair solution.
Acceptable Use
You can
- Using magistrOS to manage your own classes and students.
- Creating assessments, reports, and lesson adaptations for educational purposes.
- Sharing quiz links with your students.
- Connecting your personal Google Classroom account.
You cannot
- Uploading content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights.
- Sharing your account credentials with others.
- Using the service to harm, harass, or discriminate against students.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform.
- Using magistrOS for any illegal purpose.
- Scraping or bulk-downloading content from the platform.
Your Content & Data
Your content is yours: You retain all rights to the content you create or upload to magistrOS, including lesson materials, assessments, and reports.
License to us: By using magistrOS, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you. We don't use your content for any other purpose.
Student data responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate permissions to use student data from your school. magistrOS provides tools to help you manage this data responsibly.
Data deletion: When you delete content or your account, we remove it from our active systems. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.
AI-Generated Content
AI is a tool, not a replacement: magistrOS uses AI to help you create assessments, generate reports, and adapt lessons. The AI provides suggestions and drafts - you are always in control of the final content.
Review before using: AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should always review and edit AI suggestions before using them with students.
No guarantees: We strive to make our AI helpful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free or suitable for every educational context.
Your responsibility: You are responsible for the content you ultimately use with students, whether or not it was AI-assisted.
Service Availability
We aim for reliability: We work hard to keep magistrOS available and performant. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Maintenance: We may occasionally need to perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability. We'll try to schedule this during off-peak hours.
Third-party dependencies: magistrOS relies on services like Google Classroom, Stripe, and others. Issues with these services may affect magistrOS functionality.
Changes to the service: We continuously improve magistrOS and may add, modify, or remove features over time. We'll communicate significant changes in advance when possible.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PRAGMA AI LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of magistrOS is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of magistrOS after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. However, if you're a consumer in the EU, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence.
